Forging conditions
Forging is made at a range of temperature included between 1150 and 950°C, then cooled at appropriate conditions for the final thermal treatment and obtain required characteristics. In any case, please contact us.

Properties / Main use conditions
Ni-Cr-Mo-Nb alloy with a low carbon percentage, created in the 1960, it offers a high resistance to corrosion in a wide range of atmospheres, with a high metallurgical stability due to a percentage of Nb. This alloy is used soften annealed to resist the wet corrosion, moreover appropriated treatments can make it utilisable until very high temperatures (1000°C) due to its higher percentage of C. Excellent resistance to sea water until high temperatures.

Main applications
Equipments for chemical and petrochemical industry. Making super-phosphoric acids. Heat elongation equalizer resisting to the corrosion fatigue. Refinery flares. Pipes and valves for sea water. Components for boilers and equipments for waste incineration. Aeronautics and spacial components.
