Forging conditions
Forging is made at a range of temperature included between 1150 and 950°C, then cooled at appropriate conditions for the final thermal treatment and obtain required characteristics. In any case, please contact us.
Properties / Main use conditions
This Ni-Cr alloy is hardenable by precipitation of elements such as Al, Ti and B. The presence of Mo, Co and Nb increases the stability of the alloy and gives a high resistance to thermal fatigue, and good characteristics to creeping until a temperature of about 700°C. This alloy is the object of various heat treatments.
Main applications
Offshore components and liquefied natural gas extraction at cryotemperature until 700°C. Gas turbines, aeronautic and spatial components, nuclear reactors.
