Forging conditions
Forging is made at a range of temperature included between 1150 and 950°C, then cooled at appropriate conditions for the final thermal treatment and obtain required characteristics. In any case, please contact us.
Properties / Main use conditions
Nickel-Chromium-Iron alloy, a variant of 600, but including titanium (2,5%) and aluminium (0,5%) to make it hardenable by precipitation, Rm reaching about 1150 MPa (instead of about 655). Good resistance to oxidation until 820°C and excellent mechanical results until about 700°C.
Main applications
Gas turbine components. Nuclear reactors. Aeronautics. Springs and fastenings submitted to high temperatures.
