Forging conditions
Rough pieces are oobtained by hot forging at a temperature convenient to obtain metallurgical, physical and mechanical characteristics as per each customer's requirements. In any case, please contact us.

Properties / Main use conditions
Main reason for adding silver to CuC1 or CuC2 is to increase by about 150°C the temperature of recrystallization of copper, and to preserve characteristics which could be altered by working at high temperature (tinning, brazing, electric engines, etc…). The addition of silver also increases the resistance to creep.

Main applications
Silver copper has same applications as CuC1, but at higher temperatures.
