Forging conditions
Rough pieces are obtained by hot forging at a convenient temperature, then followed by an appropriate treatment to obtain required characteristics. In any case, please contact us.
Properties / Main use conditions
The addition of chromium to copper enableds hardening which makes possible to double mechanical values of copper. The addition of zirconium increases mechanical resistance at hot temperature, not exceeding 450°C. Good hardness and good conductibility.
Main applications
Welding electrodes and wheels, bars and elements for electrical collectors, power contactors.
