Forging conditions
Rough pieces are obtained by hot forging at a convenient temperature, then followed by an appropriate treatment to obtain required characteristics. In any case, please contact us.
Properties / Main use conditions
Alloy between cupro-chromium-zirconium and cupro-beryllium, the precipitation Co-Be enables a good hardness together with a good conductibility. Its ageing treatment being about 485°C, it can be used at a temperature of 1260°C above cupro-beryllium without loss of its characteristics.
Main applications
Similar to CuCr1Zr : welding electrodes and wheels, bars and elements for electrical collectors, but when it is used at higher temperatures.
