Forging conditions
Rough pieces are obtained by hot forging at a convenient temperature, then followed by an appropriate treatment to obtain required characteristics. In any case, please contact us.

Properties / Main use conditions
The main characteristic of this alloy is a high resistance to various types of corrosions. It has also good mechanical values, and a good aptitude to casting (sand or die). All these characteristics make it the typical alloy for marine applications.

Main applications
Pump shafts, turbines, propellers, aircraft carrier propellers, plates for exchangers, casting complex pieces.
