Forging conditions
Forging is made at a range of temperature included between 1150 and 950°C, then cooled at appropriate conditions for the final thermal treatment and obtain required characteristics. In any case, please contact us.
Properties / Main use conditions
Alloy of the "C" family, Ni-Cr-Mo without W, which offers the highest versability with the highest metallurgical stability for this type of alloy.
Immunity to cracking corrosion under stress provoqued by chlorides. Exceptionnal resistance to mineral and organic acids, even when mixed. High resistance to sea water contaminated by chlorides.
Main applications
All treatments by wet way of incinerator smokes, equipments for polyvalent manufacture of fine chemistry. Equipments in chemistry when process including high chloride concentrations. Coolers in sulfuric acid production. Manufacturing of hydrochloric, phosphoric, acrylic and methacrylic acids. High security components in sea water atmosphere even at high temperature. Electro-galvanizing equipments.
