Forging conditions
Forging is made at a range of temperature included between 1150 and 950°C, then cooled at appropriate conditions for the final thermal treatment and obtain required characteristics. In any case, please contact us.
Properties / Main use conditions
Corrosion resistance similar to 400. The addition of 3% aluminium with presence of titanium brings to the alloy properties of structural hardness by ageing which makes it usefull when high mechanical properties are required.
Main applications
Pumps shafts, pump-rods for hydrocarbons. Components for petroleum platform. Wipers for paper industry, springs.
