Introduction to the firm
Historic

On the 2nd of February 1938, Marcel Carlier founds the firm "Forges et Ateliers Carlier" for forge and stamp in small series, and carbon steel.

1970 : Pierre Carlier takes his father´s succession, and under the impulse of Aubert & Duval turns to forge of all their special steels, and also develops the transformation of copper alloys in collaboration with Fonderies de Nogent ; at the same time, stamp is progressively abandonned.

The eighties : we start forge and trading of nickel alloys, in addition to copper alloys. When Fonderies de Nogent stops, we focalize activity on pure copper OFHC type.

1993 : The firm becomes "CARLIER SA", then moves to Burgundy in order to continue extension in new and more adequate building.

2002 : Increasing by two of stocking surface further to development of the trading activity in Nickel and OFHC copper under all shapes (bars, billets, tubes and sheets).
